Q: Is there a project code for expenses related to the Global Kickoff?
A: Yes, the project code for expenses is "M-Files 2024 Global Kickoff" (41493 in Coupa). This should be used for any expenses that relate to the global meeting, including flights.
Q: I am joining from the US and a 7-day trip is less expensive than a shorter 4 or 5 day trip. Can I book a 7-day trip?
A: This might make sense when the cost savings from less expensive flights exceed the additional costs from additional hotel nights. Please review with and get approval from your manager before booking.
Q: Do I need anything beyond a passport to travel to Finland?
A: You might need a visa or other entry documents, please check this well in advance. Also, please check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of your trip. More details here.
Q: Are external team members invited to the Global Kickoff?
A: External team members can be invited to function-specific meetings only, depending on the value they bring. The organization-wide events are very big, and we unfortunately need to limit the number of participants. You should not invite external team members to any of the global meetings or the party. P&C, Sales Enablement and Smashouse will handle any exceptions directly.
Q: I heard there would be a Roihu Alumni event during the week, is that true?
A: Yes, we are organizing a voluntary meet-up to bring all three Roihu Alumni teams together. All the alumni members should have received an invite in their calendar for Monday afternoon. If you haven't received any info nor an invite but you are a Roihu alumni, please be in contact with the P&C team to confirm.
Q: I am not in Sales, can my team members participate in SKO events?
A: SKO starts on Tuesday, January 30th. Invitations for the SKO are centrally managed by the Sales Enablement team. The sessions are carefully planned, and participants chosen accordingly. We should not invite or forward invitations to SKO events to anyone ourselves. If you nevertheless think someone from your function should attend a session, please check with Hanna Tahvonen or Bob Pritchard for guidance.
Q: I don't have a corporate card or don't know how to manage the expenses…help?
A: Ask your manager or reach out to your favorite Accounting or P&C contact.
Q: What is the dress code for the global event?
A: The dress code will be smart casual during the days, and for the evening activities if nothing else is mentioned. We will communicate separately about the dress code and possible theme for the global party.
